Campbell Canada is excited to partner with Shaw’s Fill the Food Banks 2012, aiming to fill food banks across Canada by May 15, 2012. There are TWO ways your school can get involved:

1. Organize a final food drive for the school year, at a time when food bank inventory levels are at their lowest. Be sure to contact your local Shaw champion for help with logistics and drop-off, volunteer availability, and to make sure that your school’s donation is officially weighed, reported and recognized as part of our national efforts. 2. Redeem LFE points for donations to help a local food bank in your area. For 2,000 points, your school can trigger a donation of one full case of Campbell's® soup (Item # HHD-LFE-1) Campbell will reward each donation with 500 bonus points to your school’s LFE account until May 15, 2012. PLUS, the school that donates the most will be rewarded with a donation to a local food bank of 50 cases of soup on the school’s behalf as well as 100,000 points for the school’s LFE account.

As a reminder, this year’s Help Hunger Disappear label drive challenge offers schools a chance to help their local food bank.

1. The school that collects the most LFE points overall in the 2011/2012 school year before May 15, 2012 will each be rewarded with a donation to a local food bank of 50 cases of soup on the school’s behalf as well as 100,000 points for the school’s LFE account.
2. The school that collects the most LFE points per capita in the 2011/2012 school year before May 15, 2012 will each be rewarded with a donation to a local food bank of 50 cases of soup on the school’s behalf as well as 100,000 points for the school’s LFE account.
