This year, the school will participate in Campbell's Labels for Education™, a program that encourages registered schools to collect labels from eligible Campbell products and redeem them for educational resources ranging from musical instruments and sports equipment to audio-visual and computer equipment. "We are asking everyone in the community - parents, seniors and community groups - to help us to collect labels," said , Program Coordinator at . "All we request is that you save the Campbell product labels that would otherwise end-up in the recycling bin." adds that flattened labels can be dropped-off at ." Eligible Campbell products include: Campbell's condensed soups, Campbell's Easy Cooking Sauces, Campbell's Chunky soups and chilis, Gardennay , Campbell's Soup at Hand , Campbell's Ready to Enjoy soups, Healthy Request soups and microwavable bowls, Prego sauce and Campbell's Ready to Use broth, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers, V8 beverages and soups, Habitant soups and Pace salsa. As well, select Campbell's Foodservice Products qualify for redemption. This year, Campbell is also issuing a Label Drive Challenge to registered schools. The company will provide the top three collecting Canadian schools with valuable bonus points in two categories - labels per student and number of labels collected overall. First place: 250,000 points Second place: 100,000 points Third place: 50,000 points To be eligible, the labels must be collected and banked as of May 15, 2009 Now in its eleventh year in Canada, the Campbell's Labels for Education™ program creates an opportunity for students, families and communities to work together towards a common goal. The program is a fun way for students to learn what they can accomplish with teamwork and determination while also earning educational resources and physical fitness equipment for their school.
