Parents and grandparents,
students, teachers, neighbours and others in your community will be
happy to save their Campbell's product labels. Just let them know
about the program, your goals, and how you are progressing throughout
the year, using this "Letter to Parents".
|
 |
Put up posters with your school's
name and a contact person in recreation and community centres for
greater public awareness. Establishing an active label collection
"network" in your school community will help ensure success.
Make sure you state clearly where people can drop off their labels.
Download artwork for your poster!

 |
Have your students write a
"letter to the editor" describing what Campbell's Labels
for Education program means to your school. Arrange to have
selected essays published in local newspapers.
|
 |
Send a "News
Release" to local newspapers, television and radio stations.
Remember that it's best to include an accompanying photo with every
news release you send out.
|
 |
Award certificates
to outstanding students and classrooms for their participation in
the program. |
 |
Progress reports and frequent
reminder letters are an excellent way to keep interest high. Make
sure that all parents and students receive a copy of the handy in-home
reminder page that lets everyone know exactly which labels and
other proofs of purchase to save . Ask them to take a look around
their kitchens and notice how many eligible items are there now.
|
 |
Enlist the aid of your school's
parent/teacher organization by having announcements read at their
meetings and printed in their bulletins. Other service groups in your
community may also want to help. Welcome their support.
|
 |
Thank everyone who helped.
This can be accomplished by sending a flyer home with thanks from
the school letting parents know exactly what equipment was ordered.
