Please do not ship your labels to make a deposit to your Labels for Education™ account. Participating schools will collect the labels and are responsible for verifying the label and point values. The signed Label Deposit must be mailed in to verify any deposit.

Label Verification Procedure

The Label Deposit Form contains a section that must be completed and signed by a guarantor. In most cases, your school's principal can serve as a guarantor. For a more detailed list of guarantors, please see the guarantor's list .

No Label Shipping

While there is no shipping of labels, we suggest that you use the methods described below to prepare and store the labels, as it greatly simplifies the process of counting and verifying the point values.

Labels must be retained for a period of 180 days after banking them and mailing the Label Deposit Form. Campbell trusts that you will follow the new procedures carefully. Please note, from time to time, Campbell may audit your school within the 180-day period. Campbell will be sure to provide you a minimum of two weeks notice prior to an audit. After the 180-day period, it is the responsibility of the school to destroy and dispose of the labels (please recycle destroyed labels where possible).

Please follow instructions carefully

To speed up handling and to get your merchandise to you faster, please carefully follow the instructions below.

If you need assistance, please call us at 1-877-522-3574.

1. Place labels and UPCs flat for counting. See Eligible Products list for details on what to save for each product.

2. Make sure only eligible labels and/or UPCs are included. See Eligible Products list.

3. When counting your labels, record them on the “Label Deposit Form” or login into your school’s account - scroll to the bottom and click on “Deposit Form” for a printable electronic form.

4. Labels and UPCs: Tie labels and UPCs (with recyclable material) in bundles of no more than 500 – UPCs can be put in paper envelopes. Important recycling note: please follow the rules of recycling for your province or territory.

5. Bundle labels/UPCs according to product name. For Example: all sizes of Goldfish® crackers labels or UPCs, or all sizes of Chunky® soup labels together in one bundle. See Eligible Products list.

6. Group all bonus value/specially marked labels together. Any Bonus
Certificates must be mailed with “Label Deposit Form,” do not send Certificates separately.

7. Pack labels and UPCs, etc in a cardboard box. If it is necessary to use more than one box, mark the outside of each with the box number and the total number of boxes in the current deposit (e.g. Box #1 of 3, Box #2 of 3, Box #3 of 3). Be sure to mark the boxes with the date of the deposit and the date they should be recycled, so that these labels will not be used for a future deposit. Your school may be audited during the 180-day holding period (minimum two-week notice).

8. After the 180-day period has passed, it is the responsibility of the school to destroy and dispose of the labels (please recycle destroyed labels where possible). Please note that labels cannot be reused in any way once they have been claimed for points.

9. After completing your label banking, print out a copy of your “Label Deposit Form” (prior to clicking “Deposit Labels”), have it signed by a guarantor (see http://www.labelsforeducation.ca/english/guarantors.asp for details) and mail the original to us. Please remember to make and keep a second copy for your records. If your school is not registered, please visit http://www.labelsforeducation.ca/english/register.asp.

10. Mail the signed "Label Deposit Form" to:

Campbell ’s Labels for Education
c/o Access Digital Media
Hilyard Place , Suite 120, 560 Main Street
Saint John , NB E2K 1J5

Remember to make two copies of your “Label Deposit Form” and any other documents - one for your records, and the originals mailed to us. Please do not fax “Label Deposit Forms.”

11. Once your certified “Label Deposit Form” is received, your account balance will be verified online. Your account will be verified and updated within 4 weeks of the mailing date. Please remember that Campbell may audit your school during the 180-day period following the mailing of your forms, so store the labels in a secure location and keep copies of your documentation.

12. Bank and ensure we receive your Label Deposit Form any time between September 1, 2010, and May 15th, 2011. Remember to make and keep a copy of your “Label Deposit Form” for your records. Do not send labels to the above address or to Campbell Company of Canada (Toronto, ON); they will be returned at your school’s expense. Cash On Delivery (C.O.D.) or postage due shipments will not be accepted.

Label Audit Procedure

Please remember to keep copies of all paperwork and labels for a period of 180 days after the date you bank your labels. During the school year, we will identify a number of schools for an audit.

If your school is selected for an audit of your label deposit(s), the school’s LFE Coordinator will be notified and we will send a prepaid waybill to your attention, along with detailed instructions. The labels and supporting documents, in particular copies of the associated Label Deposit Form, must be returned to us within a 2 week period. In order to allow a timely verification of your school’s deposit details, the labels must be organized in the manner described at www.labelsforeducation.ca under the “How It Works” section.

All redemption materials, order forms, etc. become the property of Campbell and will not be returned. We will notify the LFE Coordinator in writing within 2 weeks of receipt of the labels with the audit results. If the audit results identify a shortage versus amount quoted in the associated Label Deposit Form, the school will be given 2 weeks from the date the audit results letter is sent, to deliver us the additional labels to cover the difference. Associated shipping costs for sending these additional labels are the responsibility of the school and/or LFE Coordinator.

Failure to follow these instructions, or having the audit identify a shortage of 10% or more of the quoted amount on the associated Label Deposit Form(s) will result in a suspension of your account for the next school year and a
disqualification of the label submission in question.

The process is easy, and will actually help you to organize and count your labels prior to banking them. We appreciate your honesty and cooperation!
